have always been a fit individual who has taken regular exercise and played football twice a week. However when my football team was promoted I found that I was struggling with injuries and would get knocked off the ball. I knew I had to enter a gym but I have never enjoyed working out with weights especially when the gym is packed with posers! I came across Core Fitness and decided to give them a go.
I have not looked back since Patrick set about designing an exercise programme that first worked on Core Stability and
addressed the muscle imbalances I had. The studio environment is great as it is private and we never have to wait for equipment. The sessions are always fun and they are constantly being changed, which means I do not become bored with the same old routine. I have added muscle, stopped getting injuries and no longer get knocked off the ball when I am playing Football.

I chose to work with Alan after stopping smoking and deciding to spend the money on something to improve my health instead of destroying it. Alan's no nonsense approach and expertise in strength and conditioning was just what I was looking for in a trainer. After working with Alan for just over a year I have far exceeded my goals (over a stone of lean muscle) and now feel confident applying the knowledge I have gained from Alan when training independently. I have been training with Alan for 3 months and can thoroughly recommend the benefits of using a personal trainer. I have a demanding job and previously
found it difficult to motivate myself to fit exercise into my lifestyle. I like the convenience of the city centre studio and having the flexibility of when I can train, I now find it much easier to fit training around work and it takes away all the excuses of not having time to exercise!
I chose Alan due to his experience in boxing and kettlebells, every session is made to be challenging and varied and requires maximum effort from me every time. The sessions are fun (especially the boxing!) and never boring and have not only improved my fitness but have created a more positive attitude towards exercise and diet in general. I find that my general energy levels are increased and I am able to cope better with the demands of my job.
When training with Alan I am much more confident that the time I spend exercising really does produce positive results in terms of weight management and refining my body shape.
